OVERVIEW: Krick Plumbing & Heating Company, INC. has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for HVAC Service Technicians AND Helpers! We are currently seeking experienced commercial technicians & apprentices that want to be part of a team that is dedicated to our customers & company growth.

POSITION SUMMARY: The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for a wide variety of duties that include customer service & ensuring best field practices when conducting HVAC duties. The HVAC technician will perform skilled technical work in the maintenance, repair, replacement, startup & installation of heating, air conditioning/refrigeration equipment, controls and ventilation systems. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Assist company in maintaining, growing & developing customer base
• Continuous learning on the products the company installs and services
• (Technician) Minimum of 5 years’ commercial experience & HVAC Journeyman licensing
• EPA CFC required
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
• Valid driver's license is required
• VRF/VRV experience is a plus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
• Install replacement parts for existing units according to OEM specifications and established safety guidelines outlined by company & OSHA
• Maintain accurate and timely paperwork
• Effectively communicate with the Service Manager, all other employees, customers & contractors
• Follow all safety practices and adhere to all safety related policies
• Make recommendations to clients to improve operation of existing system
• Provide accurate and timely communications to internal and external clients
• Respond to emergency calls
• Listen to clients and build value with client concerning their needs and company services offered
• Demonstrate initiative in servicing clients and maintaining positive client relations
• Maintain vehicle, tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating condition. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
• Other duties as assigned

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective operation of equipment provided, installed and serviced
• Able to work nights and weekends on an "on call" basis
• Able to service various types of commercial heating and cooling equipment
• Proficient written and verbal communication
• Able to work in a team or independent role
• Able to carry out instructions correctly with minimal supervision
• Obey all safety/OSHA guidelines
