Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour (with tips)

A Japanese restaurant, Ootoya is looking for experienced head servers/Captains to join our team.
Organized, detail oriented, hospitality professionals are needed for our company.

Compensations:

• $18.00 - $23.00 + tips (candidates must complete server and captain training prior to appointment to the head server)

Duties:

• General FOH jobs
• Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, store maintenance
• Reporting to managers
• Inventory
• Ordering
• Scheduling
• New employee training
• On spot problem solving
• Be in charge of the presence of the restaurant

Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have an OPEN schedule for both weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift 40LB as needed
• Must have at least 2-year of experience (as a server/head server)

Preferred Qualification:

• Have a strong sense of responsibility and leadership
• Organized, punctual people are needed
• Cooperative/Team Player
• Japanese Restaurant experience is a priority considered
• NYC Food protection certificate

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Required)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
