As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and engaging with the campus community to provide exceptional customer service and support. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols for education environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the campus, including buildings, grounds, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or address potential concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Provide assistance and guidance to individuals on the premises, including offering directions or support as needed.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and campus representatives to address security-related needs and maintain a secure environment for the educational community.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
