This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary.

• Providing instruction for dance classes for youth, teens and adults.
• Be knowledgeable and an experienced dancer in jazz, ballet, and/or tap dance. 
• Prepare class curriculum, choreography and content. 
• Prepare class for end of season dance recital.
• Manage and maintain equipment for class.
• Conduct class with proper student discipline and enthusiasm for dance. 
• Use safety techniques to properly instruct students. 
• Completes incident and accident reports as necessary.
• Organizes and puts away needed class equipment. Reports damaged equipment.
• Maintains Dance area and class records in an orderly and efficient manner.
• Communicate with parents of students regarding the student's progress and any other class related issues. 
• Upholds all policies, procedures, standards and code of conduct.

• Previous Dance Instruction Required.

• Must have a demonstrated ability to teach the development of skills and proper techniques.
• Ability to lift equipment and to spot children.
• Ability to motivate and effectively communicate with members, parents, and students.
