As our Registered Nurse (RN) Certified Midwife, you will help women receive comprehensive and compassionate care so they can have a healthy and supported experience throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.

Every day you will manage the care of essentially healthy women and co-manage with a physician the care of those at greater risk. You will be expected to assist women during childbirth, conduct prenatal care and education, perform gynecological exams and assist physicians in procedures such as C-sections.

To be successful in this role, you must be a Registered Nurse with a Certified Midwife qualification, possess strong assessment and diagnostic skills, and demonstrate a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

• Conduct routine prenatal appointments, including physical assessments and education.
• Triage and assess pregnant patients presenting with concerns, determining the urgency of the situation.
• Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies within the hospital setting.
• Provide comprehensive postpartum assessment, care, and education.
• Offer breastfeeding support and newborn care guidance.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required:

• Master's degree in Certified Nurse Midwifery (ACNM accredited midwifery program required)
• 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the applicable state of employment AND Active Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license for the applicable state of employment
• Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA); Evidence of current fetal monitoring education required

Preferred:

• Spanish speaking
