Job DescriptionJob Title

Contingent Clinical Care LVN/LPN Float

Location:
Stanley, NC (may float to nearby locations)

Schedule:
Full-time contingent | 32–40 hours per week
Includes every other weekend and select holidays
Shifts range from 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours
Schedules are built in 6-week blocks following training and orientation

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LVN/LPN to join our clinical care team in a full-time contingent float role. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused outpatient setting while supporting multiple nearby locations as needed.

You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare by supporting providers, assisting patients throughout their visit, and helping ensure an efficient and welcoming clinical environment.

This is a temporary/contract role with the potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations and injections (including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements)
• Obtain and document vital signs
• Assist with emergency care in collaboration with the on-site provider
• Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout
• Support waiting room flow and patient experience
• Schedule appointments and complete reminder and outreach calls
• Prepare and maintain clinic and waiting areas
• Chaperone patients during sensitive exams as needed
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
• Provide patient-centered education and support

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LVN or LPN license in the United States
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience administering immunizations and injections
• Ability to provide evidence-based vaccine education to patients and families
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EPIC preferred)
• Ability to obtain and document vital signs
• Current BLS certification (expiration must extend at least 30 days beyond start date)

Preferred Experience

• Background in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine
• Strong adaptability to a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment

Education

• Graduate of an approved Practical or Vocational Nursing program

Important Notes

• Candidates must be available to complete 3 weeks of initial training without planned time off
• Floating to nearby locations may be required based on operational needs
