Job Description: We are currently seeking qualified Psychologists for an exciting opportunity within Correctional Facilities in California. The Psychologist will provide comprehensive mental health services to inmates/wards under the supervision of Senior Psychologists and Mental Health leadership while maintaining safety, security, and professional standards within the correctional setting. Pay Rate: $160 - $165/hr on 1099 Benefits: $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (Available through the end of May) Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum 12 continuous months of experience within the last 3 years in a similar clinical setting (internships do not qualify) • Active and unrestricted Psychologist license in the State of California • Strong English communication skills – verbal, written, and reading comprehension • Experience in correctional, forensic, behavioral health, or psychiatric settings preferred Key Responsibilities: • Conduct mental health evaluations, psychological assessments, and clinical interviews • Assess suicide risk and provide crisis intervention services • Diagnose psychiatric disorders and develop individualized treatment plans • Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and behavioral health support • Maintain accurate documentation including progress notes and clinical reports • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and case consultations • Review mental health, criminal, and substance abuse histories • Prepare written reports for Correctional staff and Board of Prison Hearings • Support rehabilitation and treatment programs within the institution • Ensure compliance with Correctional policies, confidentiality standards, and mandated reporting requirements • Maintain professional working relationships with institutional staff and healthcare teams Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $160 - $165 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
