*CNC Machinist Job Description* *Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. * Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications. * Program CNC machines using Mazatrol systems, making adjustments as necessary for optimal performance. * Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments to inspect parts for quality assurance. * Fabricate components according to GD&T standards, ensuring precision and accuracy in every piece produced. * Assemble finished products as required, maintaining high standards of quality throughout the process. * Operate forklifts for material handling when necessary, ensuring safe transport of materials within the facility. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. *Skills* * Proficiency in operating CNC machinery with experience in programming (Mazatrol preferred). * Strong blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings. * Familiarity with GD&T principles to ensure quality control of machined parts. * Experience with hand tools and measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers). * Ability to fabricate components accurately while adhering to tight tolerances. * Forklift operation experience is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
