Coding Quality Review Educator – Remote (Inpatient Audit Focus)
Location : Oklahoma City, OK (Remote – Candidates must reside in OK, KS, MO, TX, or AR) - Need proof to show address
Duration : 13 weeks
Pay rate : $40 - $45/hr.
Schedule
- Full-time | 40 hours/week | 5 days/week
- Training: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
- Independent production: Between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST
Certifications
- One or more of the following credentials is required:
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC
Education & Experience
- Required: High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HIM/HIT.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of acute care inpatient/outpatient coding experience.
- Minimum 3 years of coding auditing/monitoring or training experience.
- Experience in academic medical centers or trauma centers strongly preferred.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4, MS-DRGs, APR-DRGs, APCs, and POA assignment.
