Job Summary LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented A/R Collections Specialist to support our client's finance operations. This role is essential in ensuring timely invoice payments and maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating via phone, email, and automated systems, and will thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Location: Pittsburgh, PA Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour “Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401k plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.” Key Responsibilities

• Manage collections for approximately 500 customer accounts
• Contact customers via phone, email, and automated systems to follow up on outstanding invoices
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, invoice discrepancies, and surcharges (including new tariff-related fees)
• Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Credit) to resolve payment issues
• Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts to meet cash flow goals
• Document all collection activities and maintain accurate records in ERP systems
• Assist with invoice generation and cash application as needed
• Support month-end close and reporting activities
• Cover customer accounts across the U.S., Canada, and Australia
• Engage with distributor-based sales channels

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in A/R or collections
• Experience managing high-volume invoicing (2,000-2,500/month)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle EBS preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively
• French language skills a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
