We're working with a fast-growing clean transport infrastructure seeking an interim Compliance & Legal Officer to support the Head of Legal and the wider team. This is a contract role, and candidates must be immediately available or on a short notice period. Responsibilities:Implement policies, procedures, systems, and controls relating to regulatory and corporate risks.
Regularly test, review, and update these policies, systems, and controls as needed. Advise on compliance implications of new business initiatives, such as market entry or new technologies. Support the Head of Legal with contract-related matters.
Experience:Minimum 5 years in a Compliance or Legal role within a regulated business. Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, including Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Bribery & Corruption. Familiarity with energy market regulations and FCA Money Laundering Regulations is an advantage.
