POSITION SUMMARY

The concrete machine operator’s role is to support operation of all concrete production equipment, including batch plant operation, concrete mixing, and GFRC production. Additionally this role will utilize in-house molds and tooling to create products and operate cranes and forklifts to support material handling of raw materials and production products. You will directly be producing precast and GFRC products daily, creating both standard and custom products. This is a critical role for concrete operations and requires focus on Quality, Safety, Efficiency, and Teamwork.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rotate and cross-train into all production operations.
• Ability to operate overhead hoist.
• Able to set-up, tear down, and repair production equipment.
• Trouble shooting abilities on production equipment
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness.
• Able to communicate and work with other team members.
• Able to follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality standards are being met.
• Forklift training required
• High level of quality control

ATTRIBUTES

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repeated basis
• Effectively execute all aspects of standard production (Roll, Spray, Batch Plant operation, Weld, Grout, Prep, and Paint)
• Able to take direction
• Function in a fast-paced environment
• General cleaning of work area
• Proper PPE to be worn though out entire shift (steel toe, safety glasses etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Degree or GED preferred
• Basic computer knowledge
• Flexible work schedule
• Takes ownership and prides themselves in producing a high-quality product
• Must maintain a dependable and reliable work schedule

The target hourly range is $18.50 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
