Counter Service at The Buttery is all about creating a warm, welcoming experience for our guests and our team alike.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our daily service, sharing your knowledge of our food, beverages, and retail offerings while connecting with guests through thoughtful, friendly hospitality. From taking orders and packaging pastries to keeping our displays looking beautiful and our space running smoothly, you’ll help bring The Buttery experience to life.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, communicates clearly, and genuinely enjoys making people feel cared for. You’ll serve as a brand ambassador, helping ensure each guest’s visit is memorable for all the right reasons.
Overview
The Counter Server position is someone who has full knowledge of all food, beverage, and retail items in The Buttery. They are responsible for delivering excellent customer service by greeting guests, making menu suggestions, packaging up/delivering food items and taking correct beverage orders. They manage transactions, ensure the display of baked goods is well-stocked and appealing, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for customers. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills to ensure smooth and efficient service. This person will serve as a brand ambassador of The Buttery to ensure an exceptional customer experience and a great working environment.
