Urgent CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER in Erie, PA

 

Location: Erie, PA

Facility: Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility

Shifts: Per Diem

Length: As scheduled

 

Pay Rate:

Per diem/Local: $80/hr

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform comprehensive assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations.
• Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic conditions within the CRNP scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions in compliance with Pennsylvania licensure.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans in coordination with the care team.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on health management and disease prevention.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide stabilization.
• Document all clinical assessments and interventions in the electronic health record.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement programs, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to uphold DMVA standards of care.

Requirements:

• Resume
• Current licensure as a CRNP in Pennsylvania.
• Current DEA registration (if prescribing).
• Minimum 2 years of CRNP experience, preferably in long-term care, geriatrics, or veteran services.
• Strong diagnostic, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Current - BLS/CPR
• 2 – 3 - current references (supervisors) References should be from different facilities
• EPATCH- must include all aliases from NCC
• TST/TB QuantiFERON Gold (within the last 6 months)
• Agency Questionnaire - We will send this via email
• COVID screening and testing consent form - We will send this via Kamana
• COVID vaccination or exemption
• • If the HCP is vaccinated, they will need to provide documentation or vaccination card.
  • If not, then it is not necessary for them to submit one.
• Free from Communicable Disease
• Fingerprints for Out of State within the last 12 months - Fingerprint Letters Received/Filed (If not resident of PA for 2 consecutive years OR Work out of State in past year)
• Current physical (within the last 12 months)
• Immunizations – MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, Covid (NO DECLINATIONS) Or ( Titer Draw Records )
• PA- Police – criminal background check
• Flu vaccination (NO DECLINATIONS)
• Drug screening that is completed prior to the start date
