We are currently seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience working with various types of equipment and machinery, especially Cat motors **Responsibilities:** - Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines for semi trucks and belt trailers, using an app called Whip Around. - Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty components and ensure operational efficiency - Utilize hand tools to disassemble and reassemble engine parts - Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively - Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake adjustments **Experience:** The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: - Mechanical knowledge with a focus on Cat diesel engines - Experience working with Semi trucks and belt trailers - Proficiency in vehicle maintenance tasks - Familiarity with hand an pneumatic tools used in mechanical repairs - Ability to interpret schematics for troubleshooting -This position is Tuesday through Saturday -Must have your own tools - Experience with wiring harnesses and diagnosing electrical issues strongly recommended.
