Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, located in the Joliet, IL area. This role serves elementary and junior high students across three schools, including one in Morris and two in Minooka, Illinois. The position is part of a special education cooperative, supporting a caseload primarily comprised of students on the autism spectrum. Location: Morris and Minooka, Illinois Position Type: Contract, Full-Time Hours: 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week Key Responsibilities: * Provide speech and language services to elementary and junior high students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. * Manage and maintain a caseload of approximately 35 students across three schools, including direct therapy and progress monitoring. * Collaborate with educators and special education staff to support student communication needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs). * Utilize assessment tools and data to guide therapy goals and ensure compliance with school district and special education standards. Qualifications and Experience: * Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. * Prior experience working as an SLP within a school setting, specifically with elementary and junior high students. * Knowledge and experience supporting students on the autism spectrum. * Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with school personnel and families. Additional Information: * This position is set to begin ASAP and extend through May 2026. * Candidates with travel experience are encouraged to inquire, although local candidates with school-based experience are preferred.
