- Healthcare Setting: 34-bed Telemetry Unit
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: October 20, 2025
- End Date: January 19, 2026
- Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360 - $1460
- Patient Ratio: 1:6 (may be 1:5)
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring equipment (GE Telemetry, Welch Allyn Vital Signs)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably MediTech
- Strong communication and team-oriented skills
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications preferred
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and patient care technicians to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize wound vacs, CPM machines, external fixation, and bracing as needed
- Document patient care and assessments in MediTech EMR system
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and compassionate healthcare environment
