Position OverviewLHH Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Employee Relations Specialist to support our large client's HR team in managing complex employee relations matters. This fully remote role is ideal for someone with strong investigative skills, a deep understanding of leave management, and a passion for resolving workplace issues with fairness and professionalism.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough and timely investigations into employee complaints, conflicts, and policy violations.
Provide guidance and support on leave of absence cases, including FMLA, ADA, and other protected leaves.
Partner with HR leadership to assess risk and recommend appropriate actions in employee relations cases.
Document all employee relations activities with accuracy and confidentiality.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on workplace concerns and resolution strategies.
Minimum 5 years of direct experience in employee relations, including investigations and leave management.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
Must reside in Oregon or Washington to be considered.
Pay Details: $36.00 to $44.00 per hour
