Job Description
This role will be based in Manassas, VA. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is on-site, meaning it will be performed in the specified office on a full-time basis due to the business needs of the team. This role may require working evening or overnight shifts (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM).
The Data Center Hardware Engineering team is a highly skilled, hands-on technical group dedicated to maintaining the reliability and resilience of LinkedIn's global server and network infrastructure. This team not only executes advanced break-fix repairs but also acts as a critical escalation point for Associate Hardware Engineers and contracted Data Center Technicians, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs and KPIs. Partnering closely with local Site Supervisors, Hardware Engineers lead advanced troubleshooting, incident response, and technical mentorship that directly safeguard LinkedIn's infrastructure stability and uptime. In an environment where downtime is measured in minutes, precision, speed, and seamless collaboration are essential to the team's success.
