We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and entrepreneurial Events Director to lead and grow the private events program across our restaurant group. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the vision, sales performance, operational excellence, and long-term growth of all events across our venues.


The Events Director will drive revenue through proactive sales strategy, cultivate new business opportunities and partnerships, and build best-in-class event experiences that reflect our hospitality standards and brand identity. This role oversees the events team and works cross-functionally with operations, culinary, marketing, and ownership to ensure seamless execution and continued program expansion.

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership & Program Growth

  • Own and lead the overall vision, strategy, and performance of the events program across all restaurant properties
  • Develop annual revenue goals, sales strategies, and KPIs; regularly report on performance and growth opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new revenue streams including corporate partnerships, brand activations, weddings, social events, and experiential programming
  • Conceptualize innovative event formats and offerings to keep the program competitive, relevant, and differentiated in the market
  • Evaluate competitor practices, pricing, and trends to continuously refine our positioning and packages
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop sales materials, campaigns, and outreach strategies

Sales & Business Development

  • Oversee all inbound and outbound event sales efforts
  • Cultivate new clients, corporate accounts, agencies, and planners to expand our network and repeat business
  • Lead high-value negotiations and close key contracts
  • Maintain and grow a comprehensive corporate and planner database
  • Establish proactive sales initiatives and partnerships that drive consistent pipeline growth
  • Develop pricing structures, packages, and profitability models

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the events team including managers, coordinators, and administrative support
  • Hire, train, and develop team members to ensure excellence in service, organization, and especially sales performance
  • Create systems, SOPs, and workflows that improve efficiency and scalability
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture grounded in hospitality and accountability
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and professional development

Event Planning & Operational Oversight

  • Oversee planning and execution standards for all private and semi-private events
  • Ensure consistent excellence across client communications, timelines, contracts, and logistics
  • Guide floor plans, run of shows, vendor coordination, and production strategy at a high level
  • Partner with General Managers and Culinary leadership to align menus, staffing, and service execution
  • Establish quality control processes for BEOs, documentation, and day-of readiness
  • Step in as senior lead or escalation point for complex or high-profile events

Client Experience & Brand Representation

  • Serve as an ambassador for the group’s hospitality philosophy and brand standards
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and planners to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Ensure each event reflects thoughtful design, seamless execution, and elevated service
  • Resolve issues proactively and maintain professionalism under pressure

Who You Are

  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in events leadership, hospitality sales, or venue management
  • Proven success driving event revenue growth and developing new business
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams
  • Strong financial acumen and comfort with forecasting, pricing strategy, and profitability
  • Exceptionally organized with strong systems thinking
  • Warm, polished communicator with high emotional intelligence
  • Creative, strategic, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable balancing big-picture strategy with hands-on oversight when needed
  • Passionate about restaurants, hospitality, and memorable guest experiences
