Events Manager – Renwick Hospitality Group at Arlo Washington, D.C.

Renwick Hospitality Group, a premier food and beverage operator based in New York City, is taking over the F&B program at Arlo Washington, D.C. To support a successful transition and drive future growth, we are seeking an Events Manager to join our leadership team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sales & Client Development
  • Support the build‑out of the events department through company‑led initiatives, including the setup of third‑party sales channels, lead‑generation platforms, and event collateral.
  • Reconnect with past guests and cultivate new relationships to drive future bookings.
  • Respond to all incoming internal leads within 24 hours to maximize conversion opportunities.
  • Conduct site tours, client meetings, and follow‑ups to secure business across all event types.
Hotel & Operations Collaboration
  • Partner with the hotel team to establish clear communication channels and strategy for event inquiries originating from hotel guests and internal departments.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure high service standards for meetings, dinners, happy hours, group events, and full buyouts.
  • Coordinate event details with culinary, beverage, and management teams to ensure seamless execution.
Event Management & Execution
  • Utilize Tripleseat to manage all bookings, client communication, event details, budgets, and sales tracking.
  • Oversee event timelines, BEOs, and day‑of coordination to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the planning process and post‑event follow‑up.
Brand Activations & Programming
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to create, plan, and execute on‑property activations that promote the brand, drive revenue, and showcase the hotel’s spaces. (Examples: seasonal events, rooftop programming, community partnerships, themed experiences, and promotional campaigns.)
Financial & Administrative Support
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation for all event‑related revenue to support a clean and efficient end‑of‑month process.
  • Track deposits, payments, and billing in coordination with the finance team.
  • Assist in forecasting, pacing, and reporting as needed.

 

Compensation & Growth

This is a salaried position with commission on bookings, paid out monthly. After six months, a performance‑based bonus structure will be added, tied to sales goals and historical event performance at the property. With strong results, this role is expected to exceed six figures total compensation.
