*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. This role requires a strong foundation in clinical skills, patient assessment, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.*Responsibilities** Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients across all age groups.* Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.* Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret laboratory results.* Administer medications, including injections, Vaccinations, as necessary.* Manage chronic diseases through ongoing patient education and support.* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.* Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.* Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Athenahealth, Cerner, or EMR for patient records management.* Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.* Engage in telehealth consultations as needed to expand access to care.*Requirements** Masters degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner studies.* Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with national certification.* Strong clinical skills in areas such as pediatrics, internal medicine,.* Experience with procedures including suturing, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and catheterization is preferred.* Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and workers' compensation law is advantageous.** Knowledge of behavioral health practices is a plus* We are in a small town Rural community. Only office practice. Town hospital is level 1 care, where patients can get admission under Hospitalist . We don't need to go to hospital. Jacksonville Florida is just 30 miles from town, and Camden county has very good school system. Extremely low crime rate.
