Starboard Industries is a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. We are seeking qualified and motivated technicians who are looking for personal and professional growth opportunities. Our current need is to dramatically increase our number of field technicians which will be groomed to become site leads and project managers.
Starboard Industries is looking for experienced structured cabling technicians to support the installation, termination, and testing of Cat 6/6A cable systems.
Duties and responsibilities of Communication Technician:

Certifications and Licenses:
· BICSI Training certification is a plus, but not required.
· Manufacturer training certifications a plus such as Belden, Mohawk, OCC, Panduit, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
In addition, many Starboard Industries project sites include CCTV and Access Control systems. Experience is preferred but not required.
Starboard Industries provides virtual and in-person training for industry training opportunities as well as manufacturer training. We believe our employees are the most important component to our success and provide a fantastic working environment.
Technicians are required to provide standard industry hand tools to complete their tasks. If you do not have tools, Starboard will provide a complete tool kit to each new employee. Costs will be reimbursed through an agreed upon weekly deduct amount.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
