Naugle Heating & Cooling is expanding its services and seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to support our growing plumbing operations. This is a hands-on role focused on residential and light commercial plumbing service and installation.

The ideal candidate is dependable in the field, takes pride in high-quality, code-compliant work, and communicates professionally with customers. You’ll work independently on service calls while collaborating with our HVAC team and leadership as the plumbing division continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for residential and light commercial customers
• Perform plumbing service calls, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics
• Complete new installations, remodels, and replacements (water heaters, piping, fixtures, drains, etc.)
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings as needed
• Use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment safely and efficiently
• Test plumbing systems to ensure proper operation and code compliance
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and solutions clearly to customers
• Coordinate with office staff and other technicians to ensure smooth job execution
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
• Follow all safety standards, company procedures, and local plumbing codes

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in residential plumbing service and installation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with common plumbing tools and equipment
• Solid understanding of plumbing codes and best practices
• Comfortable working in construction and residential environments
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working in tight spaces
• Professional, customer-friendly communication style

Requirements

• Active Michigan Journeyman Plumber license
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to represent the Naugle brand professionally in customers’ homes
• Willingness to collaborate with a growing team and adapt as the business expands

• Hourly pay: $26–34/hour, based on experience
