 OVERALL SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the supervision of a production team that typically consists of between 1 and 5 crew members. In addition to supervision of the team, the Foreman is responsible for executing the contractual obligations with the highest quality possible while ensuring that all safety requirements are satisfied and that the project profitability is consistent with organizational targets.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Plans and coordinates new installations in accordance with repair plan developed by the Foundation Consultant and the homeowner. 
- Diagnoses proposed solutions to ensure that the solution fits the homeowners expectations and adjusts solution with Foundation Consultant if repair plan proposed will not meet those expectations. 
- Ensures that the project installation is completed to customers satisfaction and is consistent with the expectations created by the Foundation Consultant. 
- Review work order & paperwork with the crew to ensure understanding of the repair plan to make sure that the quality of the repair is consistent with organization requirements.
- Reviews repair plan with homeowner and walk homeowner through installation, keeping them informed throughout the process of installation. 
- Properly plans and prepares tools and materials for the installation to ensure efficiency and profitability of the project, making sure that all materials used are the right materials for the repair plan. 
- Ensures that all tools, trucks, and equipment are clean, maintained, and prepared for use. 
- Trains and motivates daily crew by explaining expectations, demonstrates correct procedures, reviews crew performing same procedures.
- Maintains truck inventory and monitors waste to maximize profitability. 
- Prepares reports & paperwork and communicates with the Production/Installation Manager daily to update on progress, problems, and potential complications. 
- Responsible for doing a final walkthrough with the customer and collecting final payment. 
- Supervise the installation team and make the proper assignments that are consistent with the skill level of each crew member. 
- Conduct training on job responsibilities, company policy & procedures, and quality standards.
- Evaluate the performance of each crew member on a regular basis. 
- Prepare and enforce disciplinary action as needed that is consistent with the companys rules of conduct and performance standards. 
- Recommend crew members for promotion, demotion, salary increase, and/or salary decrease as needed. 
- Conduct safety training as needed. 
Note: This job will require occasional travel and out-of-town stays. 
EDUCATIONAL & EXPIERENCE REQUIREMENTS- High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of construction management experience. 
LANGUAGE SKILLS- Must be able to read, write, interpret, & communicate documents like production manuals, installation SOPs, and company policies & procedures. Must be able to communicate effectively with homeowners and crew members. 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS- Basic math skills are a must. Must be able to effectively perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS- This position will be required to lift up to as much as 100 lbs. regularly, will be required to dig, walk, stand (will be up and down regularly), drive, and will be required to navigate controls of machinery to include switches and buttons. COMPENSATION- Hourly wage of $28 per hour.
