We are seeking a General Manager who views hospitality as both a fine craft and a beautifully engineered business. As the operational anchor of Brick Lane, you will partner closely with the founding team and culinary leadership to foster a culture of operational excellence, financial precision, and seamless, intuitive service.

Core Responsibilities
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee daily front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) flow, ensuring every guest experience is flawless, sophisticated, and consistent.
  • Cultivate and Lead Team Culture: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a hospitality team that values continuous learning, technical refinement, and authentic human connection.
  • Fiscal Stewardship: Manage P&L, labor optimization, inventory, and supplier relationships with the precision of a seasoned business operator.
  • Systemize Growth: Refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and integrate restaurant technology to ensure the operation runs seamlessly, setting the stage for future scalability.
  • Community Engagement: Act as the face of Brick Lane in the Arts District, building sustained relationships with guests, neighbors, and industry peers.
What We Are Looking For
  • Proven Leadership: 4+ years of GM or Assistant GM experience in a premium contemporary, or Michelin-caliber restaurant environment.
  • Obsession with Detail: An intuitive eye for the nuances of service—from lighting and pacing to the precise execution of a complex beverage and tasting presentation.
  • Leadership Style: A leader who commands respect through empathy, candor, and composure during high-velocity services.
  • Passion for the Concept: A genuine appreciation for modern South Asian flavors, technical mixology, and a "quiet luxury" approach to guest service.
  • Analytical Mindset: A data-driven approach to restaurant operations, with a sharp understanding of margins, labor cost controls, and P&L management.
