Overview/Position Summary: The Aviation Inventory Controller Coordinator is primarily responsible for performing an array of inventory, logistics, and customer support functions that include shipping and receiving, stocking, handling inventory, cycle counts, and preparing large products for freight shipments, all while maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse in an FAA-regulated environment.Scope:Aviation Inventory Controller Coordinator will report to the Department Lead and will be responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse, ensuring all incoming aviation parts are brought into, and maintained in serviceable stock that meets the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and industry requirements. They will maintain the accuracy of the inventory and all spare rotable parts.This role works closely with:Purchasing Department: Receiving and cost discrepancy.Accounting Support Department: Ensuring all incoming inventory is received in an accurate and timely manner.Safety and Quality Departments: Ensuring safe warehouse operations and FAA compliance.Maintenance Managers and Aircraft Mechanics: Ensuring on-time delivery of parts and communicating delays.Other GMR Air Company Managers and Supervisors to coordinate and maximize efficiencies of the department.Essential Duties
