Job Description

Great fit for a mechanically inclined person. Pool service equipment mechanic. Will train the right person having related skills.

Troubleshooting, repair and installation of swimming pool equipment; motors, filters, pumps, lights, electronic automation, etc. Modify and install PVC piping and water equipment. Occasional pool cleaning and chemical maintenance may be required.

This job requires high standards relating to the work performed and the image represented. Job success is determined by customer satisfaction, and good customer relations. Associates must be able to communicate politely and complete all work in a timely and accurate manner. Vehicle provided. Requires the ability to use a smartphone based scheduling application.

A clean driving record - no tickets or at fault accidents is a must and will be verified by insurance company.

Basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical experience is required. This position requires a mechanically-inclined individual who is willing to work in adverse weather conditions. The position requires the work to be completed quickly and accurately, and to the customer’s satisfaction. Excellent customer service skills required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Troubleshooting, repair and replacement of swimming pool equipment; i.e. motors, filters, pumps, lights, filters, etc.

Daily workload varies with season, usually between 5 to 10 work orders per day.

Customer service of job assigned is #1 responsibility!!

Daily care and cleaning of vehicle.

Monitor and control individual inventory.

Complete paperwork relevant to repairs.

Maintain profitable pool repair route.
