Job DescriptionJob Opening: Diesel Mechanic
Location: Rock Hill, SC
Pay: $30/hour
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
On-Call Availability: Required for emergency repairs (ONLY Monday-Friday)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Rock Hill, SC. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, fluid changes, and general upkeep of diesel trucks and trailers. Responsibilities:

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs)
• Inspect, repair, and replace brakes and tires
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment for inspections and troubleshooting
• Assist senior technicians with complex repairs
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Follow all safety protocols and company standards
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and environmentally compliant

Requirements:

Experience:

• 1+ years of experience in diesel truck/trailer maintenance
• Familiarity with truck and trailer systems (brakes, lights, suspension, air systems)
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools

Skills:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
• Must have your own basic tools
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Willingness to learn and grow within the team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy equipment
