HR Coordinator (Part-time)



Location: On-site Arlington Heights 


Days/Hours: 3 days, approximately 24 hours /week 



Key Responsibilities:



Training Administration



  • Distribute company-wide annual employee training notifications to ensure all staff are informed of required courses and deadlines.

  • Track training completion by assigned deadlines, monitor compliance, and send follow-up reminders to employees as needed.

  • Update and maintain the compliance training spreadsheet, ensuring accurate records for audits and reporting purposes.

  • Collaborate with department managers to address training gaps and ensure alignment with organizational compliance standards.


Recruitment & Hiring



  • Screen incoming applicants to identify qualified candidates for open positions.

  • Coordinate communication with candidates, including interview scheduling and follow-ups, in collaboration with hiring managers.

  • Monitor candidate emails and inquiries, responding promptly to maintain a positive candidate experience.

  • Regularly refresh and post job openings on company platforms and external job boards on a bi-weekly basis to attract qualified talent.


Onboarding



  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

  • Conduct orientation sessions, review the employee handbook, and provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and culture.

  • Assist in the setup of employee accounts, access credentials, and necessary documentation for a seamless first day.


Employee Records & Verification



  • Process employment verification requests accurately, confidentially, and in a timely manner.

  • Maintain employee records in accordance with company policies and requirements, ensuring data integrity and privacy.


Employee Support



  • Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding the employee handbook, policies, and procedures.

  • Assist with the distribution of announcements and communications through the employee portal.

  • Act as a point of contact for general HR-related questions, providing guidance and support to staff as needed.


Licensing



  • Assist with verification of technologists licensure and certification.

  • Monitor and update tracker spreadsheet and follow-up reminder communications

  • Perform all other duties as assigned 





Requirements:




  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, preferred 

  • Prior experience in HR or administrative role

  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare or medical setting, preferred
