We're looking for an HR Generalist who wants to build a long-term career in Human Resources while serving as a key member of our People Operations team. This role owns recruiting efforts across the organization while also partnering in employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, HR systems, and employee engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities. They enjoy balancing recruiting with broader HR support and are eager to continue expanding their HR knowledge and experience.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience with demonstrated recruiting ownership
  • Experience managing recruiting activities and candidate communication
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new areas of HR
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led environment
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar business software

What You’ll Do

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Own recruiting efforts across multiple departments and position levels
  • Manage candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and candidate communications
  • Partner with hiring managers to maintain hiring momentum and deliver a positive candidate experience
  • Manage candidate pipelines and recruiting systems
  • Coordinate hiring activities from job posting through offer acceptance
  • Assist with recruiting process improvements and hiring initiatives
  • Maintain accountability for recruiting timelines, candidate follow-up, reference checks, and hiring manager communication throughout the hiring process

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Coordinate onboarding activities and new hire orientation
  • Ensure new hires have a positive onboarding experience
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company programs
  • Assist with employee communication efforts

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Support employee relations matters, investigations, performance management, and documentation
  • Help maintain a positive, professional, and respectful workplace culture
  • Assist with coaching managers on HR-related matters

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Assist employees with benefit-related questions and enrollment processes
  • Support annual open enrollment activities and benefits communications
  • Assist with leave administration and employee accommodations
  • Coordinate with benefit vendors and third-party administrators as needed

HR Systems & Administration

  • Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
  • Assist with reporting, audits, and compliance documentation
  • Support policy administration and process improvements
  • Maintain HR forms, procedures, and documentation

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support HR initiatives, training programs, and special projects
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience
  • Assist with company-wide communication and organizational initiatives

  • Compensation: $70,000+ DOE
  • Type: Full-time

  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week
