We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Payroll Specialist to support our Human Resources team during a busy period. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working at the intersection of payroll and employee support. This is a 2-Month contract position and does not plan on extending past 60days.What You'll Do:
Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies
Maintain employee records in the HRIS and payroll systems
Support new hire onboarding with payroll setup and direct deposit enrollment
Respond to employee questions regarding pay, timekeeping, and deductions
Collaborate with HR and Benefits teams to ensure seamless employee experiences
Assist with audits, reporting, and year-end payroll tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
4+ years of experience in payroll processing within an HR department
Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity, or similar)
Strong understanding of wage and hour laws, payroll taxes, and confidentiality practices
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information with discretion
Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
