We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a mechanic's mindset and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC issues efficiently. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of all HVAC systems.
*Responsibilities*
* Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings.
* Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
* Recommend system upgrades when needed
* Conduct repairs on appliances related to HVAC systems.
* Weld components as necessary for system repairs or modifications.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all operations.
* Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
* Strong mechanical skills with the ability to build and repair various systems.
* Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
* Familiarity with appliance repair techniques.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driving experience is preferred.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
