About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Director of Case Management to provide essential strategic and operational leadership for its busy hospital case management department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing case management operations, supporting risk mitigation strategies, enhancing financial and reimbursement processes, and driving performance improvement initiatives. This role requires a leader with a strong background in acute care case management, a proven track record as a change agent, and the ability to foster collaboration with various departments. The Interim Director will also be tasked with developing staff, bringing stability to a fast-paced acute care environment, and being highly organized and patient-focused. Applicants for the Interim Director position must have a BSN, with a Master's degree preferred, and an active RN license. A minimum of 8 years' clinical experience, with a focus on acute care case management, and 5 years' of healthcare leadership experience are required. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, patient-focused individual with excellent communication skills, who is adept at adapting to changing needs. The role demands a leader who is open to coaching and mentoring staff and is available to start within a short notice period. Experience in risk mitigation, financial, and reimbursement processes is essential, and the candidate should be prepared to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
