Job Title: Janitorial Associate
Location: Tortilleria Warehouse
Employment Type: Warehouse / Operations Support

Job Summary:
The Janitorial Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized warehouse environment within a tortilleria production facility. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily operations by ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are consistently met in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, aisles, and designated work areas
• Sweep, mop, and detail-clean assigned sections of the warehouse
• Remove general debris and maintain cleanliness around equipment and workstations
• Clean restrooms, break areas, and common areas as assigned
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed in compliance with food-production sanitation standards
• Properly handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Identify and report safety, maintenance, or sanitation issues to supervision
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Perform additional janitorial duties as assigned

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Warehouse and food-production environment
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as required
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures depending on work area

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of janitorial or industrial cleaning experience required
• Prior experience in a warehouse or food-production facility strongly preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills
