Job DescriptionJourneyman Electrician – Data Center (Licensed Only)

Location: Iowa

Pay: $48.00/hour$150/day Per Diem

We are seeking Journeyman Licensed Electricians to support data center power infrastructure projects in Iowa.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Site Power Distribution Installation (SOW)
• Install and maintain medium- and low-voltage electrical systems
• Work with main switchgear, distribution panels, and transformers
• Install and route feeder cables, busways, and raceways
• Support electrical installations in data halls, equipment rooms, and support spaces
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code

Required Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Electrician License (Iowa or able to reciprocate to Iowa)
• 7+ years of electrical experience (data center experience is a plus)
• Strong hands-on experience with high- and low-voltage systems
• Knowledge of power management, energy efficiency, and backup power systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic tools(multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal imaging cameras)
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Relevant certifications such as:

  • Specialized Data Center Training Programs
