*Licensed Commercial Service Plumber * *Pay: $35-39 per hour* *Summary: * Gordon Plumbing has openings for a Licensed Commercial Service Plumber! A Commercial Service Plumber installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing systems in commercial buildings such as offices, schools, hospitals, retail centers, manufacturing facilities, and multi-unit properties. *Overview of Gordon Plumbing:* Gordon Plumbing is a well-known plumbing company in the Indianapolis area for over 40 years! We have loyal customers placing calls daily so there is plenty of work to keep you busy. Dispatching is done via tablets, so you can start your day from your home, and you will not have to commute to the office every day. We offer top-pay, job security, company vehicle with fuel card, continual training and education. This position is non-commissioned so there is no selling required. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * * *Install and repair commercial plumbing systems* including water heaters, lift stations, domestic boilers, water supply lines, drainage systems, gas lines, and fixtures * *Interpret blueprints and building plans* to determine plumbing layouts and material requirements * *Perform routine maintenance* on commercial-grade equipment such as boilers, water heaters, lift stations, pumps, and backflow preventers * *Diagnose plumbing issues* using testing equipment and industry techniques * *Ensure compliance with building codes*, safety standards, and local regulations * *Prepare cost estimates* for labor, materials, and timelines * *Maintain accurate service records* and documentation for clients and internal teams *REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: * * *Journeyman or Master Plumber license* (statespecific requirements) * *Minimum 3-5 years of Commercial Service Plumbing experience* * *Experience with commercial plumbing systems* and largescale installations * *Strong knowledge of plumbing codes* and safety regulations * *Ability to read and interpret blueprints* and technical schematics * *Proficiency with plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment* * *Physical stamina* for lifting, climbing, and working in tight spaces * *Problemsolving and troubleshooting skills* * *Strong communication and teamwork abilities* *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* * *Experience with lift stations and boiler diagnostics* * *Backflow certification* *WORK ENVIRONMENT*: * *Commercial Sites*, restaurants, hotels, apartments, industrial facilities, and medical buildings * *Indoor and outdoor* work in varying conditions * *Occasional *overtime or emergency service calls *BENEFITS * Gordon Plumbing, we believe that investing in our employees is the best investment we can make.
