Job Description

Licensed Journeyman Electrician – Now Hiring

We are currently seeking a qualified Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial electrical experience
• Active EE98J Journeyman License (required)
• Possession of basic hand tools (power tools will be provided)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Strong ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting the current NEC
• Willingness to travel and work out of town as needed

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Install and hang lighting fixtures
• Run exposed conduit and perform trenching as required
• Prepare and submit material lists
• Coordinate effectively with other trades on job sites
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, including components, wiring diagrams, transformers, and motors
• Measure, cut, and bend electrical conduit; pull wire as needed
• Install and run power for HVAC equipment
• Mentor and train apprentices in proper electrical practices and safety standards

Work Location & Schedule

• Office located in Belen, New Mexico
• Standard In-Town work schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Standard Out-of-Town work schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM 
• Job sites vary and may include Belen, Los Lunas, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Truth or Consequences, Las Cruces, Taos, and surrounding areas
