*Omega Home Healthcare *is seeking full-time, part-time, per diem LPN to complete Skilled Nurse Visits for clients living in and around Red Wing, MN. *Basic Qualification* The Homecare Field Nurse must be currently licensed as an LPN in Minnesota, the state where the nurse will be providing nursing services. The position requires a clear understanding of nursing, especially in the homecare setting. Ability to assess the needs of the clients and work with individuals within and outside the company to meet the needs of the client is required. Basic computer skills and a valid drivers license with a good driving record are required for this position. *Per Diem wage*: $30 - $35 per visit with travel time & mileage. *Job Summary* A Homecare Field Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to clients of the company in accordance with the clients care plan. Responsibilities Provides direct nursing care and treatments in accordance with the client care plan. Provides services in a timely and reliable manner. Offers flexibility in working around client schedules where applicable. Demonstrates ability to assess client needs while educating clients and their families regarding pertinent health information. Arranges for client/family counseling when necessary. Functions as a patient advocate by promoting patients rights, privacy, and confidentiality. Demonstrates ability to manage all clients while staying on schedule with assigned visits/shifts. Follows all safety guidelines and universal precautions while performing nursing duties. Reports all accidents appropriately and promptly. Initiates appropriate preventive/rehabilitative procedures. Demonstrates company values of faith, integrity, respect, professionalism, and teamwork. Displays a courteous, honest, and kind demeanor to ensure that the client is provided a sense of safety & security. Observes, identifies, and reports patient problems and needs as well as nursing interventions performed to supervisor or designee.
