Position: Line Cook

Required Experience: 2–3 years minimum

About the Position

At Kozy Restaurant & Bar, we are building a kitchen rooted in discipline, craft, and respect for ingredients.

We are seeking professional Line Cooks who are detail-oriented, consistent, and passionate about modern Korean cuisine. This is not a high-volume shortcut kitchen — precision, timing, and pride in execution matter here.

You will work alongside hands-on leadership and be part of an opening team setting the standard for our kitchen culture.

Responsibilities

Execute dishes with consistency and precision

Maintain proper station organization and mise en place

Follow recipes and plating standards exactly

Communicate clearly with Chef and team members

Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation

Assist with prep and deep cleaning duties

Properly label, date, and rotate product (FIFO)

Work efficiently under pressure during dinner service

Maintain food quality and temperature control

Assist with inventory and prep lists when required

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of line cook experience in full-service restaurant

Strong knife skills

Understanding of timing and ticket flow

Ability to handle a busy dinner service

Team-oriented mindset

Availability for evenings and weekends

Food Handler Certification (required)

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience in upscale casual or fine dining

Korean cuisine experience

Experience with grill, sauté, or hot line

Knowledge of fermentation or modern techniques

Compensation

$18–$22/hour based on experience
