Full-Time Line Cook – Private Beach Club (Westchester County, NY)

Private beach club located in Westchester County is seeking an experienced full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing their station, cooking and serving à la carte items, and assisting the Sous Chef with banquets, food preparation, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare menu items for lunch, dinner, and brunch service
• Maintain and properly stock your assigned station
• Demonstrate solid butchering and knife skills
• Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing food deliveries
• Follow and maintain established recipes and culinary standards
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of your station and assist with overall kitchen cleaning
• Support daily and weekly sanitation and deep-cleaning tasks, including storerooms, reach-ins, walk-ins, and freezers
• Assist in preparing staff meals
• Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and kitchen team during banquet and event service

Qualifications

• Prior experience inà la carte service
• Culinary degree is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude (a must)
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction
• Willingness to assist the Sous Chef in executing menu items and kitchen operations
