The Role:
• Location: Detroit, MI
• Assignment type: Travel
• Start / End: 8/31/2026 - 11/30/2026
• Duration: 91 days
• Number of positions: 2
• Certification required: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Unit: Anesthesia CRNA
• Shift Type: Varied - Variable day shifts with flexible durations of 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on scheduling needs
• Call: No call required
• Setting: Hospital-based, supervised practice (Level 1 trauma center)
• Cases: Adult patients with a limited pediatric population - general surgery, deep sedation/MAC, neurosurgical cases, ventilation management, and oversight of physician-administered regional anesthesia
• EMR / Charting: Epic
• Work arrangement: Day shifts only; full-time coverage required
Work Experience / Requirements:
• Not accepting new graduate candidates
• NBCRNA certification required
• Active Michigan RN license required at time of presentation (no exceptions)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) certifications required
• Clean malpractice and license history required
• NPDB self-query report (pulled within 30 days) required at time of presentation
• Only fully licensed providers eligible; providers waiting to obtain state license are not eligible
• Must be able to work full time
Submission / Credentialing Notes:
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
• Locum coverage only; not for permanent hire
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
• No lodging, flights, or rental car reimbursement for this assignment
• Facility does not reimburse for background checks, application, or credentialing fees
• Please indicate if provider is interested in ENDO-only (screening colons and EGDs, and/or advanced GI procedures) - not required, but must be noted
• Overtime: submission must note that overtime rate is the same as the hourly rate, or explicitly state the provider is not interested in OT rate
• Perm placement / conversion fee (if applicable): CRNA: $18,000
