Facilities Worker Job Summary

Maintain the overall appearance and condition of restaurant properties by performing consistent painting, landscaping, light carpentry, and deep cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Painting & Finishing


• Perform touch-ups, repainting, and wall repairs across restaurant interiors and exteriors.


• Maintain surfaces including walls, trim, doors, ceilings, and furniture.


• Prepare and finish surfaces (patching, sanding, priming, and caulking).


• Complete small carpentry projects such as installing or repairing shelving, baseboards, wall panels, and trim.


• Repair or replace damaged furniture, millwork, and decorative elements.


• Assist with minor fixture installations or replacements as needed.


• Maintain restaurant exteriors including sweeping, power washing, trash removal, and basic landscaping.


• Refresh outdoor planters and greenery; replace plants seasonally as needed.


• E nsure signage, entryways, and patios are clean, presentable, and functional.


• Support RESET or maintenance cleaning days, ensuring kitchens, bars, and storage areas meet inspection standards.


• Clean and organize maintenance storage areas and utility closets.


• Organize and inventory commissary.


• Assist with setup for special projects, restaurant openings, or resets.


• Report larger repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
