Job Title: Medical Physicist
Location: Boise, Idaho 83706 — On-site
Pay: $160.52 per hour
Type: Contract | On-site

Shift: 07:00 - 19:00, Monday to Friday, 36 Hours per week
Note: Non-local candidates only. Candidate must reside at least 60 miles from the facility. ABR certification required. Experience with EPIC, ARIA RadOnc, and SHARE DRIVE CTC-RadOnc preferred.
Job Summary
We are seeking a certified Medical Physicist to support a radiation oncology program. The Medical Physicist will provide clinical physics support for radiation therapy treatment planning, quality assurance, and dosimetry. This is a high-compensation contract role requiring ABR certification and experience in a clinical radiation oncology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical physics support for external beam radiation therapy and brachytherapy
- Perform and oversee treatment planning, dosimetry calculations, and plan review
- Conduct equipment quality assurance programs for linear accelerators and imaging systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and RT staff on complex cases
- Maintain documentation for all QA procedures and treatment planning activities
Requirements
- ABR certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics required
- Active state licensure or eligibility in Idaho
- Doctoral degree (PhD or DMP) in Medical Physics or related field preferred
- Experience with ARIA RadOnc and EPIC preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical medical physics experience in radiation oncology
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
