Job Title: MRI Technician

Location: Troy, New York 12180 — On-site

Pay: $70.10 per hour

Type: Contract | On-site

Department: Radiology

Shift: 15:00 - 23:00, Monday to Friday, 5 Days/8 Hours, 40 Hours per week

Note: Non-local candidates only. Candidate must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.

Job Summary

We are seeking a certified MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting. The MRI Tech will operate MRI equipment, prepare and position patients, and produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation across a range of clinical indications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex MRI examinations per physician orders and departmental protocols
• Screen and prepare patients for MRI procedures including reviewing contraindications and obtaining informed consent
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards
• Administer contrast agents under physician supervision as required
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure diagnostic quality images

Requirements

• ARRT certification in MRI (MR) required
• Active state licensure or eligibility in New York
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience in a clinical setting
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
