Role: Non-Profit Senior Accountant ( Contract-Hire)

Pay: $37 - $42/hr ;Salary Conversion 95k

Hiring Type: Temp-Perm

Location:Washington D.C

Office Schedule:2days a week

Our client, a reputable non profit is looking to bring on Senior Accountantto their team on a contract- hire basis. Looking for candidates with below technical skill as well as mission driven!

Requirements

·Bachelors in a business related field

·Non-Profit Industry experience

·3+ years Strong month End &,Financial Statement prep experience

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting a range of accounting processes including accounts payables, general ledger, balance sheet and bank reconciliations,month end, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

·Lead and manage the monthly and quarterly close process

·Prepare bank reconciliations, balance sheet accounts and various other general ledger accounts, as needed.

·Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and internal management reports for leadership and program teams.

·Assist in preparing grant-specific financial reports and invoice
