MaineHealth OBGYN with Stephens Hospital in Norway, Maine, is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Professional with women's health experience - Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our OB/GYN practice. Help support our busy, outpatient OB/GYN practice under the supervision of covering OB/GYN physicians. This provider will manage a broad range of Women's Health issues including prenatal and postnatal OB care. The position is focused on outpatient care of obstetrical patients to include clinical care coordination of obstetrical services. However, there is the potential to adapt this position based on the candidate's interest and experience to include some combination of gynecological care, deliveries, or support for surgical procedures.
The candidate is expected to have completed an accredited certified nurse midwifery, nurse practitioner or physician associate program and have two or more years of applicable women's health experience. A successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and knowledge of low-risk pregnancy. They will also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment within a busy OB/GYN practice.
