A skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise is needed for a contract opportunity in a busy surgical unit in Neosho, MO. This role is based in a hospital recognized for high-quality care and patient safety, offering you the chance to join a respected facility that supports your professional growth. Position Details: * Location: Neosho, MO (near Joplin) * Type: Contract * Department: Operating Room Complex * Shift: Days, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM * Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed * Weekend & Call: As required by the facility Qualifications / Desired Experience: * Current RN license meeting Missouri state requirements * Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience * BLS certification from the American Heart Association required * Experience with surgical nursing processes and patient care coordination * Familiarity with EPIC EMR system and Stryker equipment preferred Responsibilities / Duties: * Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care using the nursing process * Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional accountability * Collaborate across departments to coordinate optimal patient care * Evaluate care effectiveness provided by other caregivers * Adhere to facility policies, dress code (ceil blue scrubs provided), and professional standards Additional Information: * Patient ratio: 1:1 in 11 operating rooms * Flu vaccination required during peak flu season (Nov 1 Apr 1), with exemptions subject to approval * Facility recognized for safety and quality with CMS 3-star rating, Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Center designations This contract opportunity allows you to contribute to a hospital dedicated to excellence and compassionate care.
