Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Operations Coordinator. Job Responsibilities

Your specific duties as an Operations Coordinator will include:

  • Preparing and processing purchase orders and requisitions for internal customers.
  • Facilitating invoice approvals and processing within appropriate systems.
  • Updating tracking systems daily with accurate data.
  • Analyzing project data using PowerBI and Excel templates.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate and complete project files.
  • Attending project meetings to support upcoming needs.
  • Identifying added project costs and forecasting changes with the local team.
  • Managing project document repositories for organization and accuracy.
  • Communicating issues to management before reaching critical status.
  • Vendor management, where applicable.
Job Requirements

Education/Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or 2 years of equivalent work experience preferred

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in operational coordination with purchase order experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Smartsheet experience
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn tracking/project management software
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic problem-solving environment
