Job DescriptionCome be a part of our team! Lifeplus International, located in Batesville, AR, has been manufacturing a range of nutritional and health products for more than 25 years. As the Packaging Department Manager, you will play a critical role in enhancing work efficiencies to achieve higher levels of productivity.

You will be responsible for setting performance metrics, resolving problems, and troubleshooting issues related to our packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage packaging tasks and the team's workflow for our Packaging lines.

· Ensure that tablets, capsules, powder blends, stick packs, liquids, scoops, gummies, and pet treats are packed in accordance with cGMP regulations, in-house SOP instructions, sanitary FDA regulations, and with the highest efficiency.

· Create, maintain, and ensure packaging schedule is met.

· Collaborate closely with scheduling department, packaging leads, quality department, manufacturing department, warehouse, maintenance department, purchasing, and management.

Required Experience and Skills:

· Strong operations management experience in overseeing and managing production operations, including production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.

· Experience with Packaging operations that include, tablet, capsules, soft gels, powders, stick packs, gummies, pet treats, and pre-made pouches.

· Proven track record in process improvement, analyzing existing packaging processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements using lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving techniques.

· Excellent team leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and foster a collaborative work environment.

· Technical aptitude and familiarity with packaging machinery and equipment to troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and assess equipment performance. Knowledge of automation and technology integration is a plus.

· Thorough understanding of quality control procedures, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with GMP and FDA regulatory standards.

· Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as production, procurement, and quality assurance. Ability to resolve conflicts and drive successful outcomes.

· Strong analytical and decision-making skills for data analysis, performance monitoring, and identifying areas for improvement.Company Description
